Even though many of our team leaders seem to have been born that way, they still spend time throughout the year at the Center for Leadership Excellence at our Restaurant Support Center in Maryville, Tennessee. Our leaders come together with open minds and a willingness to explore new ideas and are hands-on participants in skill-development classes and workplace simulations. It's the time when new initiatives and processes are presented before being implemented company-wide and it's the place where best practices are shared. This unique personal development experience focuses only on what's most important: constant improvement through learning. During their time at the Center, participants get energized by various challenges and strive to become the best that they can be as people, professionals, and leaders.
After working hard throughout each day, team leaders stay overnight at the Ruby Tuesday Lodge™, where they are served four-star meals and learn, first-hand, the impact of truly superior hospitality. They share ideas and solve common problems while continuing to build our company's "Quality, Passion and Pride" culture with their teammates and the company's top executives. At the conclusion of each session at the Center for Leadership Excellence our leaders return to their restaurants with more knowledge, skill, and dedication as they pursue their goal of "Making Guests Happy."
